A day in the life of a REV365 Social Media Specialist

A REV365 Social Media Specialist should expect to spend their day brainstorming, planning, scheduling, and monitoring social media content for multiple brands across a variety of industries. They will utilize lists of predetermined key messages and brand elements to design content calendars, write copy, and provide creative direction for social media posts. A portion of the day will be used to monitor the interaction occurring on the clients’ social media accounts; engaging with and working to grow the audience. They will work collaboratively with account managers and the creative team to ensure that each client’s strategy and brand are being communicated accurately and effectively.

We are looking for a highly motivated professional who can create, monitor, and grow engagement across social media platforms in a wide variety of industries.

Required Skills/Experience

  • - Proven experience in social media marketing
  • - Excellent knowledge of multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Google My Business, Pinterest, etc.
  • - Excellent writing, communication, and time management skills
  • - Must be organized and highly attentive to detail
  • - Must be able to multitask and switch focus between different clients or platforms with ease
  • - Basic understanding of SEO is preferred
  • - BS or BA in Communication, Marketing, Business, or Public Relations

What you’ll do

  • - Optimize social media platforms based on current platform requirements
  • - Brainstorm and plan content using a provided strategy, but also based on current trends and best practices
  • - Write unique copy for posts based on the client strategy and key messages
  • - Collaborate with strategists and account managers to ensure there is a clear and mutual understanding of each client’s goals, messages, and online persona.
  • - Collaborate with creative team to request photos, graphics, videos, or other creative assets needed for each client’s content plan
  • - Schedule posts using a social media scheduling tool
  • - Monitor engagement and interact with audience on various platforms
  • - Analyze data to determine success or failure of social media efforts
  • - Manage and provide quality control for a small team of interns
